Never had anyone call back when tried calling to setup service finally scheduled service on app. I had windshield replaced and oil, engine light check and no one made contact with me. Always a horrible experience when getting any type of maintenance work done.

I dropped my car off at 7:45 for a 10:00 appointment. At 3:00 I called to see if my car was ready. They were busy and she said they would call me back. I received the call at 4:00. I explained I was waiting to leave work and didn't have a car. I asked what was wrong with my tire and was told it had a nail in it. This was the same story a month prior, but yet my tire continued to need air once - twice a week. It's always a production to leave my car with you and frustrating when it doesn't get fixed the first time. I was again told they are busy and would get me my car as soon as they could. He also apologized for the miscommunication with my car - um there was ZERO communication.

This was the 3rd time I have had my 2018 Traverse in for service. The problem--the motor chugs upon acceleration. The problem gets "fixed" for a short time and then reappears. After this service date on May 19th, the problem was not fixed at all!

I made an appointment on May 28th and Zack was my advisor. He waited until the evening and told me there were people in the building that were waiting and he pushed my car back and ran out of time. Had to reschedule for the following Friday. My husband took the day off to get the vehicle in and all he told us was he was sorry. We used time and money to be there. The cost to fix the vehicle was a little over 1,900. For the air conditioner and the breaks. We did come back in and I stayed the full time the vehicle was in and Zack didn't bother to give me any updates. I do plan on coming back to GM but don't want to work with Zack again.

Went in for oil change and fuel censor change, pickup ran terrible going home and by night it was dead in a pasture a mile from home. Had to pay an additional 250 dollars to have it towed to the shop. Does anyone know how to service a diesel pickup? Whatever they did they screwed it up good. Now I am without a vehicle to haul livestock and scared to drive it very far.

My AC eventually was fixed. My biggest issue was the poor communication between me and the service department. I was told they would contact me on a Monday to schedule the needed repair on a Wednesday. I wound up calling them late Monday afternoon and was told they were booked out until Friday. That didn't work with my schedule, so it was another week before I could get my vehicle in. The entire repair process took 2.5 weeks.

Took the vehicle in for recall work. Now have a check engine light and reduced engine power. The parts to fix the issue are backordered with no estimated time of arrival. Have never had issues with my pickup until it was brought in for this work. Tech is claiming that it's completely unrelated, even though the issue started within minutes of driving off the lot.

Thorough, fast (timely), efficient and courteous. Answered the questions (Derric Fox) on upcoming service needs I might have on my 2015 Silverado engine. I was slightly interested in a tahoe, cost and how the size (parking, etc) was, compared/felt to my 2015 Silverado, (I do not like the increase in height and size of the newer Silverado's) and I am retired now from farming. I waited but sales were too busy to show me one while I waited for service on my Silverado. Would have liked to take a test drive in an arcadia or tahoe to see if it could fit my needs. I had bought a lot of brand new LTZ Silverado's over the prior 15 years (last purchase was my 2015 Silverado purchase in February 2015. What a truck it has been and still is. I am not used to having 75000 miles on my Silverado. I usually traded all those others in on another new one with under 21,000 miles. But times definitely change, I guess.

I spent 6 hours waiting for my truck repairs. They told me they could not get my door actuators to NOT work. When I drove home, I could not get them to work at all. I can't even unlock my front doors sometimes unless I get into the back and pull the front door handle. I can't afford to keep taking time off work.

2024 Malibu ( low miles) has been in twice with the same issue ,...sluggish performance, engine cutting out etc etc ,.. 1st time "apparently " the tech admitted to not checking the codes and released the car , 2nd time they put some diaelectric grease on some electrical ends and released the car ,...well,...problem still exists !!! My wife can pull away from a stop sign and have the car bog down / cut out / power loss in traffic !! Talk about an accident waiting to happen ! AND NOW the back up camera will turn on while driving down the highway ! Strange ...called the dealership , was put on hold , then she came back on and asked for my phone number and still waiting for a call back

The unplanned service was due to a SECOND failed free tire rotation included with oil change. The first time all of my bolts were stripped requiring a new wheel assembly to be installed. During that install a bolt was not tightened and after a month of driving it finally worked lose and bent to a 45 degree angle and scratched up the CV axel causing that to have to be replaced after being towed 30 miles. Even after explaining this to Derick Fox, a Tyler still called the next day uninformed of what was going on so I explained again in full detail. He had the audacity to call me back 3 minutes later to say there was no damage and my car was 100% fine and come pick it up. We then hung up and contacted Derick to re inform him of what needed to happened even tho we were terrified of their incompetentcy. They could have had us all killed with their lack of ability to do tire rotations let alone the level of repair required now. So the axel was replaced a few days later and we immediately took it to our mechanic at a different business for inspection. Turns out when they did the job they knicked the tie rod end and caused a leak. So that has been replaced and an alignment done and the invoice will go to GM for reimbursement. We will never return as a result of this. The lack of ability to do simple tire rotations has left us in shock and we are so grateful no one was hurt or worse as a result of this. Keep in mind we took our family to the black hills with a compromised wheel We had planned to purchase our daughter a car there in jan but there’s simply no way we can trust the quality of the vehicles after this. We know too much. In addition- I was sold a cabin air filter on July 11 and charged $47.50 plus tax. Our mechanic discovered this was not replaced. It was filthy for no reason and it has been years since replacement he felt. Regardless. More than a month. So we were scammed into a purchase with no intent to deliver the product. It’s really disheartening. We left this experience dumbfounded and exhausted and completely frustrated.

5 hrs to do updates on the radio, why it doesn’t update automatically I don’t know, heated seats only work sometimes but by the time an appointment is made they work again so apparently nothing can be done to figure out why they only work sometimes, I would think there would be a sensor or code or something that could be checked out, so boils down to updates on the radio so hopefully that problem is corrected

My wait was shorter than the predicted estimated time. It was great having access to comfortable seating, beverages, popcorn, and a TV. I'm sure there was access to cell phone charging stations, if I had needed one. I noticed that another customer was able to join a work Zoom call during their wait - How thoughtful was that? I appreciated having knowledgeable personnel take care of my vehicle! I highly recommend!

We were told this fix would take one day. It took 3. They found another small problem, but that isn’t what took so long. I scheduled a warranty repair a week ahead of time. They didn’t realize they had the right part till the next day. They thought it was a 3 hour job, but evidently they should have scheduled it for 8 hours, is what I was told. I was told 3 different times that they would call me back, but was not called back once. We live an hour away. We made 2, 2!!!!, wasted trips to Norfolk! I gave them 2 stars instead of 1, because they were polite and facilities are clean.

Every time I have brought my pickup in for an oil change and tire rotation, my tires have never been inflated to proper air pressure. I have always had to inflate or deflate to proper PSI. I don't think they check the tire pressure because if they did, they would know. And if they do, they simply don't care.

A warning light came on while I was in Norfolk so I brought my pickup in to be serviced in which one tire needed to be removed & put back on. After a 3 hour wait, I was back on the road. However the lugnuts on that particular tire were not tightened or torqued. This caused the nuts to come loose, the tire to wobble and damage the rim. I'm just thankful it didn't fall off completely and cause an accident where I or someone else was injured or killed! Then I had to make a trip back to Norfolk to show them the damaged rim & another trip to pick up the new rim. Each trip took a minimum of 1 1/2 hours out of my day, not to mention the gas. All because the lugnuts weren't torqued after the technician reinstalled the tire.

Norfolk Motor Company is an excellent dealership. I recently brought in my GMC Sierra for service. Oil change, tire rotation, etc. During my time there, a technician brought to my attention, and showed me the vehicle cabin filter. It was quite soiled. He asked if I wanted to replace it. That shows me that they will not do any repairs on your vehicle until you authorize the work. That is service above and beyond the call. This is an excellent dealership and I would highly recommend them to everyone!! Thank You!

They replaced my water pump which corrected the leak on my 2020 Yukon Denali. I was shocked when I received the bill at $1322. I came home and googled parts and labor for a new water pump and it was $138 for parts and $196 to install for a total of $334.Granted, costs vary, but this is $1,000 difference. Hard to believe costs vary that much.

Bought new tires and experiencing dead band when shifting from first to second. When I picked up the truck, service rep said they could not find anything to correct on the transmission issue, that was normal. Do not tell me that is normal, perhaps tell people experiencing this, we know it's a problem we just haven't found a solution, because that is not normal. Then noticed the new tires were muddy, thought ok, tech drove through mud on test drive. Then open driver's door to find mud on the pedals, floor mat and door jamb, no paper floor mat, just mud on everything.

Was the 2nd time I had to bring our vehicle to be repaired in two weeks. Originally stated it was the back up camera. After driving it for three days the same issue happened and the back up camera was not working. Brought it back in to be fixed and they said it was a system update that should have been performed when it was in the first time. Once I got the vehicle home the plastic on the back hatch does not snap into place. I tried calling on 10.29.2025 to get this fixed. I was told they would call me back later that day and no one has called me since.

My Silverado had developed a humming noise so after talking to some people in the know decided I needed my front wheel hub checked. Stopped into Norfolk Auto Center and Nate scheduled me for a Wednesday morning appointment. Got it in and within an hour the repair was done, but AJ came into the waiting room to advise me that my control arms were in need of attention, he also showed me a video on his phone. He said it would take a couple of hours. Nate called for a car to give me a ride to my daughter's house. About 2 hours later Nate called and told me the work had been done and I could get on my way. I am very happy with the results; my truck runs quiet - AJ did advise me that the other wheel hub may need attention later.

All was great till I got back into my car to see several items from my glove compartment laying on the floor of passenger side. Proof of insurance was one of those things. 1. Called ahead to schedule an oil change, arrived and the person I spoke to earlier did not put me into the system. I was asked if I had ever been there before...we purchased the vehicle there and have brought it in many times for maintenance. 2. Told me my vehicle was done and had me pay for it, walked outside and it was no where to be found. The man looked at me and said, "do you have your keys?". How could I have my keys if it was being worked on...turns out my vehicle was not done yet. 3. After my vehicle was done alerts and sensors kept going off. This was not an issue prior to bringing it in for service. I had an appointment scheduled to get it fixed but canceled as it did get resolved.

My fiance told me how long it took I said then it’s free and they told her the appointment was at 9:20 which is not what the lady said and refused to give me a free service and they stripped my lug nuts and told me to bring it back next day I did now it shakes bad

I went in for an oil service and it was requested I needed new front brakes. A date was set and Norfolk GM was to pick my vehicle up at place of employment. They did not do this on the scheduled date nor call me even though I had the confirmation email. They apologized as they didn’t have time that day after it was already scheduled. The next week brakes were changed. I went on vacation, pulled my camper several hundred miles. My brakes were squeaky. Got back and drove another 20miles and one brake literally fell off. This should be a lawsuit against Norfolk GM. They admitted fault and fixed brake but also need to order new wheel. Wheel came in and went in for repair. Waited 1hr and someone came out said it was damaged. Ordered another. Went in and was told it would take no longer than 1 hr to change the wheel. I waited 1hr 40min and went and asked as I was very frustrated. Manager was able to get the vehicle because it was done. Also when I was waiting for the wheel to come in Norfolk GM initially called, when I was at work, and I called in asking for a return call to get this scheduled from there service manager and didn’t get a call back. This place has so many issues. Where is the service within Service at Norfolk GM??

I have used Norfolk Auto many times, and over the last few years, every time I have a vehicle in for service, the inside of my vehicle is dirtier than when I brought it in. I would appreciate the floormats, seats, and steering wheel get protected to prevent them from getting greasy or dirty.

Happy that the techs were able to fix 2 tires that were losing air. Also very happy to be able to go into a car wash and not have water on my passenger side floor mats. I was hoping they would be able to find the source of a squeak noise in that same area but unfortunately not this time. Over all great work from the team though.

Liked the convenience of online appointment for oil change service. Service and tire rotation done to my requests. In years past I was able to receive a discount on the diesel oil change service. They offered discounts on gas powered vehicles but would not honor anything on diesels. I tried to use my GMC awards but the dealership could not find my account on their computer. I have always been able to use the rewards with my local dealership. Overall good service except for this.

Friendly staff on time with the appointment everything went well Got in my pickup to leave noticed the fuel filter life had not been reset- did I get a new filter?? I paid for one 2 weeks earlier I brought my car in for an oil change and I noticed the mileage was wrong on the ticket and on the windshield service information how do you get that wrong?? Many good things but attention to detail is not one of them

Nate’s communication was very poor. I had to call just to find out my vehicle was finished hours ago. He didn’t even know it was done. He would not Keep me updated. We had to bring our car back several times. Each time he tried to Give excuses and dismiss what my wife or I was saying. He isn’t a mechanic and should not act like one.

Waited for parts to arrive for weeks while vehicle sat at dealership, had to call to have them look to see if parts had arrived to complete repair. Appointment was at 8am 2 days later. I checked at 2pm and vehicle had not moved. Called to inquire, no one could answer my question as to why it wasn't being worked on. Was promised a call back which I did not receive. Repair was not done until next day.

Austin did a great job selling this car to me. He was not pushy and respected my boundaries. When I had questions regarding the car and its features he was good at explaining. He was very patient and explained all the steps of the car buying process. I would definitely work with him in the future to purchase another vehicle. There were not a lot of additional services that the dealership provided for purchasing a new car. I have been to places in the past that will provide a punch card of car washes or oil changes. I would say that the process of trading my car in was not very pleasant. The individual I worked with was honestly dismissive and not willing to work with me. I was not very impressed.
